Every town has its history. Every town has its secrets. Carla Heine's stories come from her collection of firsthand experiences and from the information she learned in the company of the Victorian women who controlled Sonoma's past, and future with iron claws in kid-skin gloves.

Is it possible to have an audiobook? My friends would love to hear your stories but prefer to listen it in audiobook.

The Thought has Crossed my Mind. I've got Seven Years in Radio and 35 in Theatre. There's Something Special about a Songwriter who Sings his Own Songs. It's Like Hearing Steve King Read His Own Books.

Thank You for the Encouragement,

Constant Reader!

Carla Heine's narrative, rich with detail and historical context, explores whether the hauntings are confined to physical spaces or extend to the collective memory and spirit of a community.

What I like about this book is its historical depth. Heine’s meticulous research into Sonoma's Victorian era adds a layer of historical richness that enhances the ghost stories. The personal touch of her Sunday afternoon high teas with the town's influential figures adds a unique dimension to the storytelling, making the book not just a collection of ghost stories but a window into a bygone era. I hope audio book will be available soon! I love to hear the story over and over again. Kudos to you Carla Heine!
